This two-stage, 12-storey project with a three-level basement across two towers represents a significant addition to Brisbane's evolving landscape. As Project Manager, you'll orchestrate every phase of this development while leading a talented team of up to 12 site professionals. Reporting directly to our Construction Manager, you'll be the cornerstone that ensures project excellence from design through to completion.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will

  • Implement robust governance frameworks ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Drive strategic project planning across design, pre-construction, and construction phase
  • Manage detailed project budgets with meticulous cost control and financial tracking
  • Negotiate optimal terms with vendors and subcontractors to maximise project outcomes
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage risks with proactive problem-solving approaches
  • Oversee comprehensive quality assurance processes that exceed client expectations
  • Champion our "Think Safe Live Well" philosophy throughout all project activities

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 10 years' construction experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
  • Proven experience managing large-scale multi-residential developments
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with relevant technical qualifications
  • QBCC Open Site Supervisor licence (essential)
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage relationships at all levels
  • Strong leadership capability in developing and managing cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with construction management platforms
  • Decisive problem-solving abilities with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and team morale

At GVG, we value collaboration, innovation, and excellence. We proudly embrace a "best idea wins" philosophy, encouraging open-minded discussions and constructive, thoughtful collaboration. We are a supportive team dedicated to creating exceptional living spaces for our customers, and we provide an environment where you are genuinely valued.

If you are a results-driven leader with a passion for construction excellence and a proven track record of guiding complex projects to successful completion, we want to hear from you.
