The Opportunity:
Project Manager is a core delivery role on our ANZ Client Services team, based in Sydney. You’ll
own a portfolio of market research projects end-to-end, from kick-off through data delivery,
working across both full-service and sample-only projects for some of Australia’s most
recognized brands and research agencies. This means managing competing priorities, keeping
clients informed, and solving fieldwork problems before they become client problems. You’ll
work closely with survey programming, sales, and cross-regional APAC colleagues, and report
directly to the Associate Director, Services ANZ.

This position is hybrid. Candidates must be able to commute to the office 3 days per week.

Your Responsibilities:
●Develop deep familiarity with PureSpectrum’s service offerings, delivery capabilities,
technology platforms, quality and apply that knowledge to every project you run.

● Ensure all projects you are directly responsible for meet or exceeding delivery
standards for being on time, in budget, and without quality issues.

● Oversee and lead moderate to complex projects with little to no supervision (project
governance, progress, dependencies, communication, delivery process, project metrics,
risk mitigation, etc.); ensuring customer & business expectations are met or exceeded.

● Manage client communication throughout the project lifecycle, setting expectations at
kick-off, providing proactive fieldwork updates, and ensuring a smooth close-out and
data handover.

● Follow established best practices and processes for project delivery.

● Work closely with the ANZ sales team, providing project performance feedback,
supporting pre-sales activities, and contributing to client retention.

● Take ownership of problematic situations and work closely with team members to
develop solutions that resolve problems

Requirements:
● 2-4 years of experience in Market Research industry.

● Experience in managing multiple projects with competing priorities.

● Ability to learn and use new technology platforms to meet or exceed customer and
project needs.

● Comfort with online research platforms and survey tools; experience with Decipher or
similar survey programming platforms is a plus.

● Solid judgment and critical thinking skills.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident managing client expectations
directly, including when projects run into trouble.

● Ability to be proactive in anticipating problems and providing solutions.

● A passion for curiosity and a drive to always be learning.

● Ability to foster positive relationships across teams and customers.
