About this position:
LMCU is looking for a Project Manager who will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives across the credit union. The role will involve supporting cross-functional projects that align with key organizational priorities such as digital transformation, core system modernization, and regulatory compliance. The position will be responsible for leading medium to large-scale projects, all of which are designed to enhance operational efficiency, adaptability, and innovation.
What you’ll do:
Lead and manage medium to large-scale projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Collaborate with business units, technology teams, and senior leaders to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics. Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership. Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure adoption of agile practices across teams. Champion continuous improvement and agile mindset across the organization.
Support change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and sustained adoption. Ensure compliance with internal governance, regulatory requirements, and enterprise standards.

What you’ll bring:
Three or more years of project management experience, preferably in financial services or credit union environments.
Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, finance, technology, or related field of study. Agile certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum Master) are preferred.
Understanding of enterprise agility principles and frameworks, with experience supporting enterprise-level projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, including Jira, ServiceNow SPM, Miro, and SharePoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with budgeting, procurement, and contract management.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to build trust, influence others, and navigate sensitive or confidential matters with professionalism and diplomacy.
