Job Title: Interface Manager – ELV / Multi‑System Integration
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Experience: 7–10 Years
Employment Type: Full‑time
Reporting To: Project Director / Program Manager
The Interface Manager – ELV / Multi‑System Integration will be responsible for managing cross‑discipline coordination and technical interfaces between multiple systems in complex projects. The role focuses on ensuring seamless integration between ELV, IT, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Automation systems, minimizing clashes, resolving dependencies, and supporting successful testing, commissioning, and handover.
This role is critical for projects involving BMS, FAS, CCTV, Access Control, SCADA, and Networked Systems, especially in industrial and infrastructure environments
Key Responsibilities
Multi‑System Integration & Interfaces
- Lead and manage technical interfaces between multiple systems including:
- BMS / IBMS
- Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)
- CCTV & Video Management Systems
- Access Control Systems (ACS)
- SCADA / Industrial Automation Systems
- IT & Network Infrastructure
- Ensure smooth data exchange and interoperability using protocols such as:
- BACnet, Modbus, ONVIF, REST/API integrations, and integration gateways.
Cross‑Discipline Coordination
- Coordinate between ELV, IT, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Automation teams to align system requirements.
- Manage technical dependencies and handshakes between systems (e.g., BMS ↔ FAS ↔ CCTV ↔ ACS ↔ SCADA).
- Act as the single point of contact for interface‑related technical clarifications and resolutions.
Drawings & Design Coordination
- Ensure consistency and alignment across all drawings, including:
- RCP drawings
- Electrical layouts
- IBMS / ELV schematics
- Network & IT layouts
- Identify and resolve design clashes through coordination reviews and mark‑ups.
- Support finalization of coordinated drawings and as‑built documentation
Coordination Meetings & Clash Resolution
- Conduct and participate in interface coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Proactively identify interface risks, clashes, and gaps; drive resolution through structured action plans.
- Track interface issues, dependencies, and closure status.
Testing, Commissioning & Handover
- Support and coordinate FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) activities.
- Ensure interface testing scenarios are validated during integrated testing and final commissioning
- Support system integration validation prior to project handover.
Documentation & Change Management
- Maintain strong control over interface documentation, ICDs (Interface Control Documents), and technical registers.
- Manage change control, ensuring all design and scope changes are evaluated for cross‑system impact.
- Ensure approvals, revisions, and records are maintained accurately.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of multi‑system ELV integration architecture
- Excellent coordination and communication skills across disciplines.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into clear coordination actions.
- Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution capabilities.
- Detail‑oriented with a structured approach to documentation and change control.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automation Engineering or related discipline.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in industrial plants, infrastructure, smart city, data center, or large campus projects
- Exposure to projects involving SCADA, industrial networking, and system integration platforms
- Experience working with consultants and PMC‑driven projects.
