Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Bede, you’ll play an important role in helping us deliver successful projects for our customer and internal teams. Working as part of our Project Management Office, you’ll coordinate projects from planning through to delivery and transition into live service, making sure work is well-managed, clearly communicated and delivered to a high standard.
You’ll work closely with technical and senior stakeholders to keep projects moving, manage risks and dependencies, and support strong governance across Bede’s project portfolio.
What you'll be doing
- Manage projects from end to end, ensuring we meet client expectations by delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.
- Actively maintain project plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- You will be the primary point of contact for clients surrounding the coordination of tasks related to the successful delivery of development.
- Monitor and report on project status, clearly communicating with key stakeholders.
- Effectively manage risk - including reporting and following accurate escalation paths.
- Work closely with PMO leadership to define and implement governance standards across Bede.
- Ensure that all cross-functional and complex business initiatives are planned, monitored and tracked from the point of requirements scoping until post go-live support.
- Coordinate and conduct post-implementation retrospectives, feeding carry-forward items back into the wider teams.
What we are looking for
- Experience in a SDLC environment with end-to-end project lifecycle experience.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Baseline understanding of Jira, MS365, and Google Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders, foster collaboration and communicate clearly across technical, business, and executive audiences.
- Customer focused mindset, with a strong commitment to understanding stakeholder needs, delivering value-driven outcomes and building trusted long-term relationships.
- A critical thinker with great organizational skills and self-sufficiency.
- Demonstrates self-motivation and the ability to positively influence and inspire peers to achieve shared goals and deliver strong results.
- SCRUM and PMP qualifications would also be an advantage.
