It is the responsibility of the Project Manager for the project management of the customer site to ENSURE that it is ready to receive and install all Elekta products in accordance with the product-specific site planning guidelines. Project Managers are responsible for the development, coordination, and completion of assigned Implementation Projects. As members of the ORDER Fulfillment Department, the Project Manager also shares responsibility for the education and support of Distributors and Customers in the effective site preparation and use of Elekta devices and software.

The Project Manager maintains and manages all aspects of site preparation to meet Elekta product requirements within established policies and guidelines for Linac, MRI-Linac, MEG, Gamma Knife, Oncology Information Systems (OIS), and Brachy products. This involves communicating and coordinating pre-installation knowledge to the Customer and/or Distributor to ensure that all site readiness requirements are met prior to delivery of designated equipment. This position requires extensive project management and customer interaction skills to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. This position warrants the highest level of professional representation between the customer and Company as well as undivided support for projects, programs, and policies established by Elekta.

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting and furthering customer/distributor implementations of their assigned Elekta products as per established procedures, as well as documenting and communicating the status of such implementations, and constantly seeking ways to improve processes.

· Ownership and project management across all aspects of Site Planning including but not limited to Pre-Sales, Design & Engineering, Construction, Rigging, and installations

· Interface with Customer and Distributors' Architectural and Engineering firms to ensure accurate interpretation of equipment specifications and requirements

· Attend coordination and construction meetings as required

· Work with the Sales Organization to provide guidance and assistance when required

· Perform on-site inspections to ensure compliance with site readiness requirements and report the results to the project team

· Regularly report and review the status of customer problems and issues to stakeholders

· Review and produce/coordinate the production of site-specific drawings

· Accountable to stay within budget guidelines

· Provide information to support the tracking of project KPIs

· Responsible for identifying organizational improvements and supporting projects implementing changes

· Participate in project review calls to provide updates on projects in respective areas

· Keep accurate records of customer correspondence and communication, completing required paperwork and adhering to company policies and procedures

· Keep company assets and leased equipment in good working condition, ensuring these are serviced and calibrated as required

· To ensure that all support performed by Elekta staff and representatives is performed in accordance with local laws and regulations

· Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

· Incorporate Elekta values into departmental functions and responsibilities

· Engineering Support: Review and contribute to product-specific engineering documentation

· Distributor/Builder Documentation: Generate, edit, and maintain product-specific documentation distributed during the implementation process (e.g., checklists, notes, technical references, interface specifications)

· Customized Documentation: As necessary, project plans and materials to help forward the implementation process

· Customer Proposals: Generate or assist in the generation of proposals that outline Elekta’s standard implementation process or propose alternative solutions to meet customer requirements.
