Project Manager Wastewater Infrastructure

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager with a mechanical engineering background to deliver wastewater infrastructure projects. If you thrive on responsibility, enjoy problem-solving, and want to make a real impact, this is your chance.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of wastewater projects from inception to completion.
• Manage site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Oversee temporary works design and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 Regulations, acting as Principal Contractor or Designer.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and commercial performance.
• Prepare RAMS, programmes, progress reports, and handover packs.
• Provide technical input on pumps, pipework, valves, and treatment equipment.
• Mentor site teams and promote a culture of safety and quality.

What Were Looking For

• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
• Proven project management experience in wastewater or water treatment.
• Strong knowledge of temporary works, CDM regulations, and site management.
• Commercially astute with experience in budgets, contracts, and procurement.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
