Project Manager

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will lead the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of urban planning and infrastructure projects by applying established project management and engineering practices. You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead and manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring successful delivery of project objectives

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and deliverables

• Oversee multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle

• Monitor project progress, identify risks and challenges, and implement mitigation measures as required

• Prepare and present project progress reports, updates, and presentations to management and stakeholders

• Review and manage technical submissions, project documentation, and design deliverables

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders

• Lead project meetings, coordinate action items, and ensure timely follow-up and resolution

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, contractual obligations, quality standards, and health and safety requirements

• Manage project budgets, invoicing, variations, and overall commercial performance

• Analyze project data and performance metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement

• Mentor and support junior team members while fostering collaboration and effective teamwork

• Perform other responsibilities related to project delivery as assigned

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in project management within engineering, urban planning, or infrastructure projects

• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary infrastructure and master planning projects

• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Previous experience managing large-scale urban planning and infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC region

• Familiarity with industry-standard project management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project

• Strong understanding of UAE project delivery standards, authority requirements, and approval processes

• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is preferred

• Experience working within engineering consultancy environments

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
