The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Project Manager tojoin our Energy & Utilities Business, managing distribution network, secondary systems, substation and transmissions projects across Sydney.

Reporting in the Senior Project Manager this role is flexible on work location and can be based out of our Newcastle, Wollongong or Eastern Creek office with regular site travel required.

What You’ll Do

Role requirements include leading the development of tender submissions and project delivery including: scope management, design management, determining construction methodologies, financial WBS and schedule development, request for quotations, cost estimation, risk assessment and implementation of risk mitigation strategies, development and implementation project plans and overall delivery responsibility for assigned projects. Projects must be completed within agreed stakeholder parameters of safety, cost, time and quality that meet our business objectives while fully complying to Downer Standard.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma in Project Management and Electrical Engineering Degree is preferred
• Extensive Energy Supply Industry experience
• CPSPM certification with AIPM
• Financial management, budgeting and reporting
• Subcontract / Procurement management
• Competent in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Primavera P6, Expert Estimator, @Risk analysis
• Understanding of relevant AS/NZ/ISO standards and NSW Electrical Industry legislation
• Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to, Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Management and Environmental principles
