We’re partnering with a fast-growing clean-tech engineering company that designs and delivers industrial power generation and energy storage systems across Ireland. These projects help major industrial clients take part in Demand Response and grid flexibility programmes, supporting Ireland’s path to decarbonisation.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with a solid technical background in power generation or energy storage to oversee multiple industrial-scale projects - typically 1–20MW

This is a delivery-focused role, managing everything from pre-construction through installation and commissioning. You’ll coordinate contractors, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with EirGrid/ESB requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver distributed generation and BESS projects across multiple sites.
• oordinate design handover, site works, and commissioning activities.
• Liaise with EirGrid/ESB for grid connections and compliance.
• Oversee subcontractors, budgets, and safety standards (PSCS/PSDP).
• Lead handover and client training at project completion.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams, contractors, and customers.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical, commercial, and regulatory risks.
• Build strong working relationships with industrial clients and utility partners.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or Power Systems Engineering (or similar).
• 5+ years’ experience delivering medium to large-scale energy or utility projects.
• Experience managing generation or energy storage projects (diesel/HVO gensets, BESS, CHP, or peaking plants).
• Familiarity with EirGrid / ESB processes and Demand Response markets (DS3, flexibility, or capacity services).
• Strong technical understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, schedules, and budgets across multiple sites.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
