Work Environment: The work typically takes place in both an office environment and on construction sites. The Civil Project Manager must be prepared for travel to and from these sites as needed and be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Physical Demands: The physical demands include walking, standing for long periods, and occasionally lifting heavy materials. The role requires frequent visits to construction sites, where the manager will inspect the work progress and resolve on-site issues. The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or confined spaces, climb ladders, and visually inspect small defects is crucial.
