ASRC Federal Systems Solutions, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support and lead critical program activities within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This role focuses on coordination, communication, schedule oversight, cost tracking, and ensuring seamless execution across multiple stakeholders and project teams.
The ideal candidate excels at bringing structure to complex efforts, maintaining detailed project documentation, and driving progress through clear communication and consistent follow-through. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer needs are met and project commitments are delivered successfully.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders regarding project status, progress, and issues.
• Ensure clear and timely communication between vendors, customers, teammates, and associated projects.
• Review and interpret project requirements and translate them into organized, actionable plans.
• Build and maintain an up-to-date project requirements list throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track and report weekly project costs to contract management and customer stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with budget expectations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation, including schedules, requirements, status reports, and organized digital files.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources into a centralized database or tracking system.
• Review and monitor project schedules with a focus on achieving milestones and identifying potential risks or delays.
• Support resource coordination and ensure staffing and material needs align with project demands.
• Plan, organize, and lead recurring project meetings to gather updates, identify challenges, and maintain momentum.
• Communicate project accomplishments and major milestones to contract management and leadership.
Requirements:
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in managing project finance.
• Must have great customer service skills and able to communicate the status of project and understand deadlines.
• Must have the ability and comfortability to present, both online and live in-person, to anywhere from 2 to 300 people.
• Must have ability to manage a defined schedule and communicate any deviations.
• Prompt and steady attendance is vital to the success of this position.
• Must possess strong computer skills, including the ability to set up equipment for presentations and troubleshoot basic technical issues independently.
• Must have a valid CA driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4 years relevant experience in executive assistance, office administration, project management, etc. or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Completion of Technical Courses (i.e. Excel, MS Project, Agile/Scrum, Contract Management or similar subjects).
Attendance is critical at all times during normal duty hours. Work outside of normal duty hours may be required with as little as one hour advance notice.
