We are seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager with extensive experience in leading large-scale, complex technology projects across various industries, including retail, finance, travel, and airlines. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile). This role requires exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and teams effectively. The Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with industry standards.
Must Have Skillsets (Mandatory):- Project Management Expertise: Proven experience (8-10 years) in managing and delivering complex IT projects across various life cycles (Waterfall, Agile) and industries (retail, finance, travel, airlines).- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of technologies, software applications, and IT environments, particularly in CRM, Data Platforms, RPA, ERP implementations, and infrastructure.- Leadership and Team Management: Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills, with the ability to drive high-performing teams and ensure resource optimization.- Stakeholder and Vendor Management: Expertise in managing stakeholders, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and RFP processes.- Budget and Risk Management: Proficiency in project budgeting, cost analysis, risk management, and quality control.- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, with the capacity to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Good to Have Skillsets (Optional):- Industry-Specific Experience: Experience in the airline domain, travel industry, or with POS systems in retail.- Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with modern team workflow solutions and emerging technologies, as well as legacy systems management.- Security and Compliance: Knowledge of security, audit, and risk management requirements for critical systems and services.- Arabic Language and Local Experience: Arabic speaking, with a valid UAE driving license and own car, preferred for certain regional projects.- Program Management: Strong program management capabilities, with experience in senior management reporting and presentations.
Qualifications and Experience:- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Experience: 8-10 years of IT project management experience, including handling large-scale projects across multiple industries.- Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification.- Preferred Experience: 7-10 years in the travel, airline, and banking industries, with a deep understanding of financial services and cost management.- Soft Skills: Ability to influence, mentor, and lead across all levels of an organization, with a customer-oriented and results-
