Lead and deliver electrical, instrumentation and controls projects for Electro‑Matic Ventures. Manage project scope, schedule, budget and quality while coordinating internal teams, contractors and customers to ensure safe, on‑time completion. Work closely with the Project Engineering Manager to ensure projects run smoothly from inception through close‑out and that communication and handoffs among project members are maintained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Prepare proposals, quotations and apply appropriate pricing; support commercial negotiations and contract administration.
  • Demonstrate understanding of gross margins and resolve pricing issues; coordinate with the Pricing Administrator on special costs and rebates.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal and on‑site customers; travel to customer sites to gather information and manage installations as required.
  • Plan, execute and close projects: define scope, develop schedules, track budgets, manage risks and control changes.
  • Maintain project schedule for assigned projects and work with Scheduling to ensure promised delivery dates.
  • Maintain a Change Log for all approved customer‑requested changes with related costs.
  • Maintain an Open Issues Matrix for assigned projects and keep accurate project records.
  • Coordinate design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning activities for E&I and control systems (as assigned).
  • Coordinate shipping of material for assigned projects and receiving of material at customer sites.
  • Investigate, expedite and resolve customer delivery problems; work with Inside Customer Service Representatives and Outside Sales to facilitate customer requirements, including product substitutions.
  • Work with outside sales and other stakeholders to problem‑solve and meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company Management of Change (MOC) processes, safety procedures and applicable codes/standards.
  • Support root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions during startup and operations.
  • Communicate project status, issues and milestones to stakeholders and leadership; facilitate cross‑team communication and timely handoffs.

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Controls or related technical field, OR 3+ years’ experience in purchasing, customer service, inside sales or related project/technical role.
  • 3+ years experience in project coordination/management within industrial electrical/instrumentation or systems integration environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, PLC/DCS fundamentals and field instrumentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, planning and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with project tracking tools preferred.
