About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
We have a 12-month contractor opportunity for experienced Project Manager (PM). As the PM working on the Performance Reporting Framework, you’ll lead the delivery of a single, coherent performance framework for ACC’s end‑to‑end client system. This framework will define a shared framing for performance using operational, financial, and actuarial perspectives, agree a prioritised set of core measures and cohorts, and enable consistent, automated performance reporting across the client system for different audiences. Capacity permitting, the role may include managing other governance or policy projects in the Strategy, Engagement and Prevention business group.

You’ll be responsible for managing scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder engagement across this complex projects. This role requires strong collaboration across ACC.

The appointing salary for this role will be $111241 - $143959 based on experience and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme with features like 0% employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance, and flexibility to change to a locked plan at any time.

About you | Mōu
You will bring:

  • A proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects in large and complex organisations (government experience is beneficial)
  • Demonstrated delivery leadership and the ability to operate in complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong capability in managing project budgets, governance, reporting, and risk
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • High‑quality oral and written communication skills, including meeting and workshop facilitation experience
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge and experience working with PRINCE2 or similar project management methodologies (qualification beneficial)
  • You must have NZ working rights to apply for this role
