As a Project Manager within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing strategic programs and initiatives from requirements gathering through to execution. Your work will have a significant impact on various departments, ensuring alignment of operations with our business strategy and vision. You will apply your broad knowledge of project management principles and practices, leveraging your skills in business analysis, data analytics, digital proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to drive success. Your role will involve complex decision-making, requiring you to interpret policies and make decisions that directly affect departmental outcomes. Your ability to think strategically, provide excellent customer service, and manage conflicts will be key to your success in this role.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of complex, cross-functional projects, utilizing your skills in data analytics and digital proficiency to deliver results aligned with business strategy.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, ensuring appropriate resources are assigned and milestones are met, while regularly communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Prepare business requirements documentation which are clear and comprehensive.
  • Work closely with operations and technology partners covering testing and implementation of solutions
  • Partner with operational users to ensure smooth implementation, readiness and continued usage.
  • Utilize your skills in conflict management and team building to foster a collaborative environment, resolving issues and risks that may arise during project execution.
  • Ensure all projects are completed in accordance with all Risk, Control, and other relevant firm-wide guidelines, maintaining our control environment.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Ability to manage product improvement through effective Agile and Product Ownership methodologies.
  • Business Analysis skills. Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple streams of work at any given time
  • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills in a project management context.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to leverage subject matter expertise
  • Strong partnership record and ability to build effective business relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and must be able to demonstrate outstanding delivery track record.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of Asset Servicing and/or Operations processes would be beneficial however training will be provided. Fast learner able to understand complex processes
  • Implement automation to streamline project workflows and increase operational efficiency.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and recommend strategic solutions (coaching to be provided)
  • Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging creative problem-solving and the adoption of new technologies.
