Job Description

The Project Manager will manage multiple projects, reporting to the Business PMO Director. The individual will work cross-functionally to plan, direct and coordinate projects and is responsible for day-to-day project management, including managing scope, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.This role will provide exposure to many aspects of our business and opportunities to support special projects. This individual will work closely with the Process Improvement Team, Business Intelligence Team, and cross-functional partners and work streams to help implement process changes, drive strategic initiatives and improve performance. Qualified candidates will have a comprehensive understanding of the scope of operations, technology, and business functions and how they interact in order to achieve business objectives. Prior process improvement and data analytics experience and strong leadership and communication skills are required.   • Assist in definition of project goals, objectives, and scope, involving all relevant stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project plans and timelines to support projects throughout the project management lifecycle.
  • Oversee project tasks, budgets, timelines, and resources necessary to ensure the project stays within scope, on time, and within budget.
  • Conduct assessments to identify potential risks, escalate risks, and devise plans to mitigate risks in consultation with senior staff, key stakeholders and subject matter experts.Implement preventive actions to decrease the probability of future recurrence.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts for the progress of agreed upon actions and supporting milestones/deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations to senior leadership using PMO’s processes, standards and templates.
  • Responsible for delivering all projects on time, within budget, and meeting the strategic and business requirements while ensuring compliance with PMO standards and procedures.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short- and long-term goals
  • Manages organizational projects through the entire project lifecycle and according to project management standards and best practices. Ensures projects are completed within established scope, schedule and budget utilizing cross-functional communication and collaboration, requirements definition and delivery, financial analysis, risk management planning, budget management and change control.
  • Resolves high level conflicts by making broad decisions or negotiating with affected stakeholders. Defines and directs activities of project teams to enable appropriate subject matter expertise and project resource requirements.
  • Utilizes excellent written and verbal skills to communicate on-going status updates and feedback to team members, stakeholders and senior management team. Develops reports based on project metrics for stakeholders, organizational leaders, and others as needed.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones tracking, expected outcomes, accountable owners and ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Leads by example and demonstrates the core values of Service, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamworks at all times.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in appropriate field of study required
  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
  • Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with process re-engineering and corresponding training and/or certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma, etc., and demonstrated track record of leader and team player on large, strategic, cross-functional projects
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership, analytical problem solving, ability to interpret data, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional ability to understand, listen actively and communicate (verbal and written) effectively in a diverse environment including presentations, meeting facilitation, and leading calls or meetings.
  • Exhibit strong listening skills and the ability to understand / document various positions on issues to recommend/support translating ideas into prioritized and actionable steps.
  • Proven ability to independently plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects with strong attention to details.
  • Ability to respond effectively to shifting priorities to meet stakeholder and management demands and expectations.
  • Mastery in MS Office Suite, including Visio and Project.
  • Experience with Smartsheet and SharePoint.

Work Conditions

  • Occasional travel via automobile and plane is required.Work across multiple time zones.70% time will be spent in a sedentary position; must be able to sit for prolonged periods and use a computer, keyboard, video technology and mouse, frequently.
