Job Description

1. Degree in business, science (or other relevant area), or equivalent relevant experience.2. Project Management Certification is a preference ie. PMI PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner.3. Minimum of 3 years project management experience in the telecom and/or IT industry managing external customer facing projects.4. Flexible working hours – some work must be carried out in the evening or weekends.5. Able to travel up to 70% of the time in special circumstance, but 50% under normal circumstance.
Must Have:1. Must have at least 3 years of experience in Telco/IT services preferably from tier-1 Telco or IT service provider. Lesser experience will be reviewed on case by case basis. Familiarity with Cisco, Huawei, Riverbed, and other network products will be an advantage.2. Must have at least 2 years of project management experience. Lesser experience will be reviewed on case by case basis.3. Must have proven experience in managing and communicating effectively at project execution level such as field engineers, technical consultants, customer’s mid-level managers, and vendors.4. Ideally have managed projects in one or more of the following solutions: Systems Integration; Cloud Solutions; Unified Communication & Collaboration (UC&C); VDI; or Contact Center (example – Genesys).5. Must have at least 1 years of experience in either developing or enforcing formal project management methodologies, processes, and tools to a group of PMs.6. Must be fluent in Simplified Chinese and English (verbal and written). English is required as this role needs to communicate with customers/suppliers outside China regularly.7. Ability to identify and solve problems with minimal supervision.
