In this role, you'll:
Working within our Engineering and Maintenance Team at Sydney Trains, the primary purpose of our Project Manager position will be to plan, coordinate and manage projects of a single or multi-disciplined nature in the Electrical Program relating to project scope, cost, schedule, risk, quality, communications and change controls.
The role is accountable for delivery of project outcomes in line with the Major Works Division’s annual program of work, responsible for using mature project management practices and sharing knowledge across project teams.
About you
The role is responsible to develop Project Management documentation including project plans, schedules and resource plans with stakeholders; Provide project reports on project cost and budget tracking, risks and issues and project performance and status, to relevant stakeholders
You will undertake Risk Analysis for projects in order to manage safety and commercial risks to facilitate decision making and risk mitigation for projects.
You will oversee and manage the performance of internal teams, contractors and external partners, with support from Commercial Services and seeking feedback from Project Engineers and other team members in order to track and report on project delivery against project performance objectives and benefits realisation.
You will understand defined scopes and budgets and actively manage costs associated with the delivery of assigned projects; identify when change occurs within their projects and drive the Project Change
This role will see you complete the handover of projects and associated documents, including stakeholder sign off on scope delivery for all projects.
Finally, you will implement and ensure compliance with the project governance model as specified by the relevant processes.
