Job Title: Project Manager - Intermediate

Blue Yonder is seeking a Project Manager to lead and guide software development projects within our Product Development (PD) team. This position is crucial for ensuring the successful completion of projects from conception through delivery, working closely with team members and under the senior management's guidance. The Project Manager will set clear expectations, foster team development, and effectively manage risks and escalations to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects within the product development team.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders about project developments, issues, and risks, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of concerns.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation. Ensure adherence to defined quality standards and meeting non-functional requirements such as security and performance objectives.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to identify suitable platforms and technologies, promoting the use of reusable components in design.
• Plan and monitor the release delivery schedule, coordinating the availability of development environments and tools.
• Identify project risks, define mitigation plans, and facilitate cross-team communication to ensure smooth progress and resolution of impediments.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to the development team, supporting their personal and professional growth.
• Manage resource allocations for direct and indirect reports, conduct appraisals, and provide career development feedback.

Technical Environment:

• Familiarity with modern software development tools and platforms, Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), and cloud-based development environments.
• Understanding of security practices, performance optimization, and the integration of reusable components in software design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management within a software development or technology environment, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in applicable technologies, products, and tools relevant to software development in the supply chain management domain.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and guiding teams towards achieving project goals.
• Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience with project planning tools and software development environments.
