QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as project manager in UAE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Executing the project on time, within the approved budget, and in accordance with the contract specification
• Ensuring that the quality of the materials and the installation of work are in accordance with the criteria identified for the project.
• Preparation of Bid Summary with recommendations for approval of MD
• Receiving all the relevant information regarding design, drawing and engineering.
• Responsible for project controls (planning and cost control)
• Responsible for all aspects of project Quality Management & Control
• Ensure that all required personnel and labor are mobilized in a timely manner
• All aspects of health, safety, environment and security
• Follow up with procurement department and ensure all orders are procured on time
• Review manpower requirement and deployment
• Ensure proper material planning allowing for sufficient time for approval and processing of material requests
• Prepare progress reports
• Attend meetings with consultant, client, and subcontractors
• Issue instructions to subcontractors advising them of available work areas and reviewing their progress work
• Identifying and taking necessary corrective action to improve the progress and or quality of work
• Handling project petty cash and matters related to invoices and payments
• Receiving and Auctioning project correspondence
• Follow up progress payments, certification, and receipt of payment
• Ensure that all cost and time impacts are recorded and secured
  Staff training and appraisals
