This position supports the federal government, and all applicants must be local to the designated duty location or able to support regional office operations as required.

The Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Government’s mission by overseeing the full lifecycle of facility and infrastructure projects. This role involves planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of construction and sustainment initiatives while ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and performance objectives. The Project Manager works closely with stakeholders, servicing agencies, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes in compliance with federal standards and regulations.

This position supports a Government program responsible for planning, construction, and sustainment of real property and operational facilities. The Project Manager contributes to ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, risks are mitigated, and mission requirements are successfully achieved.

Responsibilities:

  • Support acquisition planning and execution, including preparation of acquisition documentation, market research, and cost estimates.
  • Manage and track project funding, budgets, and financial reporting, including monitoring expenditures and maintaining financial systems of record.
  • Oversee facility operations management activities, including maintenance tracking, repair coordination, and development of project documentation.
  • Provide end-to-end project management support for construction and facilities projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including end users and external agencies, to develop and validate project requirements.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while tracking scope, cost, and performance metrics.
  • Manage project risks, including identification, mitigation planning, and ongoing monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee construction activities, including site visits, progress tracking, and validation of work against specifications and standards.
  • Prepare and deliver project reports, including status updates, variance reports, and performance metrics.
  • Support quality assurance planning and execution, including audits, performance monitoring, and corrective actions.
  • Manage project documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and maintained in government systems of record.
  • Assist in project closeout activities, including documentation review, financial reconciliation, and contract completion.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management, preferably supporting construction or facilities projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired.
  • Experience supporting federal government programs or contracts.
  • Knowledge of acquisition processes, budgeting, and financial tracking.
  • Experience managing construction or infrastructure projects, including oversight and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with systems such as SharePoint, SAP, TRIRIGA, or similar project and financial management tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum OSHA 10-hour training preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance through the Government.
