As a Project Manager in MS&E – Supply Chain Strategy & Planning, you are responsible for projects through all phases of the project lifecycle. You will lead cross‑functional projects.
You will report to the Manager located in Poland and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.
Your Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy- Develop expertise in the function, CoE or domain of focus- Understand how projects and programs relate to Rockwell Automation strategy- Align project goals and goals with business/function performance metrics
- Project Planning & Scoping-Understand / translate our requirements-Support development of the business case for the project-Define project goal-Define project scope by consulting with partnersIdentify all necessary project activities and their interdependencies-Design / approve project plans project resources-Negotiate / manage deployment of project resource budgets-Develop scenarios to improve resource deployment / scheduling-Support development of scenarios to optimize resource deployment / scheduling
- Governance- Ensure agreement of your approach with PM framework, tools and standards- Guide and direct project teams to ensure compliance with PM framework, tools and define clear project and program charters- Lead project reviews / ceremonies- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor progress, ongoingly
- Project Management- Document and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle - Develop scenarios to improve cost, schedule and resources- Ensure adoption of digital and technology solutions throughout the project lifecycle- Manage (internal and external) resources, budget, risks and schedule, applying digital solutions- Guide project deadlines and ensure timeliness- Adopt elements of Agile methodology- Manage identification, prevention and mitigation of project issues and constraints- Monitor and adapt to the need to change direction in project scoping, timeline and milestones
- Project Transition/ Change Management- Define / ensure the creation of change and implementation plans- Provide appropriate documentation and training to ensure successful transition to business as usual- Guide agreement with partners on ROI/KPI before handover to steady state
- Data and Analytics- Define a project scorecard (project health and outcomes)- Monitor project performance- Use data to identify opportunities for project optimization
- Communication & Stakeholders Management- Analyze and map stakeholders- Develop and implem- Manage stakeholders' expectations at multiple levels – plants, BUs, COEs- Hold vendors and suppliers accountable as needed- Communicate project status, milestones and risks- Support Product Owner / Business Lead in managing customer expectations- Define and operationalize escalation structure- Establish project team communications (channels/rhythm)- Serves as the primary business interface with other Rockwell Automation functions and external parties, if applicable
- Continuous Improvement- Lead internal processes improvement initiatives
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Master's in engineering, further education in business administration, operations or project management i
- Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturig operations or manufacturing enginee
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management
- PMI Project Management training or equivalent
- Project Management
- Change Management
- Fluent English
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Track of Project Manager Competency Profile development plan
