Job Description

Ashtead Technology is looking for an experienced and organised Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects across our expanding operations. In this role, you will ensure contracted products and services are delivered to client specifications, on time and within budget, while coordinating closely with internal teams, suppliers and clients to achieve project objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of small to medium-scale projects, ensuring milestones, timelines and client requirements are met.
• Monitoring project budgets, costs and financial performance while ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual obligations and financial regulations.
• Coordinating internal departments, suppliers and offshore teams to ensure equipment, personnel and resources are available and delivered as planned.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, schedules, invoices and financial records in collaboration with project administration and cost accounting teams.
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders, ensuring requirements are met and strong relationships are maintained.
• Supporting operational activities including equipment preparation, testing, mobilisation, offshore briefings and project reporting.
• Contributing to tender support, client meetings and continuous improvement through customer feedback and project reviews.
  

What experience you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in a Project Management role or similar
• Strong project management capability, including reviewing specifications, preparing work packs and plans, and managing equipment modifications.
• Experience in supporting FAT, mobilisation and demobilisations of equipment, ideally for offshore or international operations
• Degree-level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline desirable.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work proactively.
• Solid IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Project.
• Background in mechanical, hydraulics, electrical, PLC or offshore/back deck operations is beneficial as well as experience working with back deck or mechanical handling equipment.
• Offshore experience also highly desirable.
