We are seeking a Project Manager to work with our clients to successfully execute and complete projects and manage accounts as assigned. This requires a strong ability to lead, manage and take initiative while handling multiple aspects of different projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage and support clients and service providers on multiple projects.
Utilizes established processes and procedures to track, manage, and complete projects within scope.
Ability to work with and manage different client needs and personalities.
Responsible to lead project team meetings to set the goals, review progress, problems, etc.
Problem solve and troubleshoot while maintaining client relations.
Process and generate shipment orders in company TMS.
Communicate with carriers and tender loads.
Plan, manage, and trace shipments.
Provide financial and shipment reports to customers and management.
Take immediate action to correct or solve issues that may occur.
Be on-call on holidays, weekends, and after traditional office hours.

QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:

Strong decision-making skills, balancing the best interest of our company and client.
Initiative, ingenuity, and judgment to set priorities, plan, make decisions, and complete requirements and assignments on time.
Must be able to manage multiple projects at once.
Allocate work time according to the priority of job assignments.
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) clearly and concisely, coordinate and execute work assignment(s) independently or in a team environment, direct others for effective results, and remain calm in stressful situations.
Prior experience in transportation, supply chain management, freight brokerage, or logistics industry preferred.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two to five years of experience in a Project Manager role preferred.
Experience in Warehousing, Inventory management, Procurement, or Logistics and Distribution is preferred but not essential.
Customer-focused service industry experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
