We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will bring innovative projects to life and ensure their successful execution. How you’ll make an impact

  • You will lead and motivate project teams to achieve key objectives and milestones effectively and develop comprehensive project plans in partnership with the Project Controls department, covering all critical aspects.
  • You will manage project execution, ensuring adherence to Hitachi Energy policies and best practices throughout the lifecycle.
  • You will monitor and control project financials, including invoicing, expenses, and cash flow while managing associated risks and opportunities.
  • You will ensure all project activities comply with contractual agreements and Hitachi Energy policies, overseeing procurement processes as needed.
  • You will serve as the key point of contact for the customer, resolving project issues and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and ensure adherence to Hitachi Energy’s health, safety, and environmental policies within all project activities.
  • You will mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration to enhance team performance.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in managing medium-sized projects including commercial, contractual and team leadership aspects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is required for this role, French is advantage.
  • PMP certified is required
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
