Exciting Career Opportunity: Project Manager at ALUMIL!

ALUMIL, a leading manufacturer of architectural aluminum systems, is searching for a skilled Project Manager to oversee our projects across the Group. This pivotal role will involve coordinating various aspects of project execution while ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.

The Role

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for leading project teams and facilitating effective communication among all stakeholders, including suppliers, engineering teams, and subcontractors. Your leadership will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired specifications.

This role is crucial in ensuring all projects align with design and construction standards, as well as adhering to HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and coordinate with key stakeholders—including the HSE team, suppliers, contractors, production departments, and engineering team—to oversee project progress and ensure seamless supervision across the Group’s companies.
  • Examine the local legal requirements and apply the technical standards in the design and execution of projects.
  • Oversee the planning, monitoring, and management of costs and timelines throughout project execution to ensure that they align with the established schedule and budget.
  • Gather all project documentation—including design files, offers, drawings, contractual documents, and as-built records—and distribute this essential information to the appropriate production and maintenance teams.
  • Identify and establish the necessary procurements for projects, including materials and services. Engage in cost negotiations with contractors, gather offers in collaboration with the procurement department, and assess these offers before placing purchase orders. Process order requests within the ERP system for the engineering team.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or similar) .
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management within the construction or manufacturing sectors; experience with aluminum systems is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Extensive experience with AutoCAD, ERP systems (preferably SAP), as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel).
  • Proven expertise in electromechanical installations within industrial settings, encompassing piping, hydraulics, pneumatic networks, low-voltage electrical systems, cabling, and machinery setup.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, emphasizing relationship-building and stakeholder management.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills will be considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
