
Responsibilities
·Oversee strategic process of the three-year Career Pathway Training (CPT) project, at the 1199SEIU Training and Employment Funds; provide leadership and guidance to the project delivery teams throughout various phases of the project life cycle
·Develop and maintain detailed project plans, coordinate project resources, track milestones and deliverables, provide scope management and change control, evaluate risk and manage issues, including root cause analysis on missed deadlines
·Support Executive office and divisions teams in communications with critical external project stakeholders; and coordinate status updates of key projects
·Working with the Fund’s business areas to gather information about new project initiatives and assisting in creating associated project management tools and workflows
·Create and manage workflows and cross-Funds’ teams to ensure project tools, including communication tools, vendor management tools, recruitment protocols, and other project infrastructure are developed and aligned to project needs
·Identify, troubleshoot, communication critical gaps in workflows for remediation
·Coordinate interviews to gather requirements set by the business sponsor and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s); ensure requirements are clear, concise and properly address business needs
·Coordinate with disparate areas and maintain project resource plans
Qualifications
·Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare, education or related fields, or equivalent years of experience required; Project Management Certification (PMP) highly preferred
·Minimum five (5) years’ experience as a project manager required and in workforce development organization a plus
·Experience with project management tools and software (MS Project, MS Project Online, and PowerPoint),
·Experience with interviewing business team colleagues to gather business requirements
·Must have experience in build strong relationships with business partners, IT, finance and other departments,
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must provide clear and consistent directions and communicate well with people at all levels
