Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale civil infrastructure project based in Castleisland, Co. Kerry. This long-term development involves complex groundworks, utilities, and structural elements, requiring strong leadership and coordination across multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring safety, quality, and budgetary targets are met. To be successful, the preferred candidate will possess excellent project management skills, a deep understanding of civil engineering, and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the civil infrastructure project.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with programme and budget.
• Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across all site activities.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Prepare and review project documentation including reports, schedules, and risk assessments.
• Resolve technical and operational issues promptly to avoid delays.
• Support procurement and contract administration processes.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to site personnel and junior staff.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within civil infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of Irish construction regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.
