Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a large-scale construction project with restoration elements based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, coordinating teams, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and programme requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating restoration works into the broader construction programme, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and driving project performance. To be successful, the preferred candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in construction and heritage restoration, and a proven ability to manage complex projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of a large construction project with integrated restoration works.
• Manage project scheduling, resource allocation, and programme adherence.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth execution.
• Oversee health and safety compliance, including site inductions, method statements, and audits.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping across materials, labour, plant, and site activities.
• Liaise with clients and local authorities to ensure project alignment and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure restoration works meet conservation guidelines.
• Manage procurement and subcontractor appointments in line with approved suppliers.
• Oversee financial performance including cost control, invoicing, and monthly reporting.

Requirements:

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, ideally with exposure to restoration works.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and heritage standards.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills with attention to detail.
