Project Manager
Location: This posting is for an existing vacancy in Wellington-Altus’s Toronto or Winnipeg office.

The opportunity:
Reporting to the VP, IT Governance & Delivery, the Project Manager will be responsible for the creation, execution and maintenance of comprehensive implementation plans and goals-based reporting for the WAPW projects.
The Project Manager will play an integral role in project planning and execution and will act as a professional point of contact for internal and external clients to ensure project milestones are communicated and met successfully.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading projects and assists in the creation and coordination of project plans and activities, and monitoring of contract deliverables.
- Demonstrating business and technical acumen to ensure deliverables and expected outcomes align with the Business Case.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand business needs, capturing risks, issues and decisions as required
- Developing change management plans for projects and/or change initiatives.
- Assisting in defining the project scope and deliverables.
- Maintaining project records, databases and project files, entering project information into planning software to ensure that all documents and notes are compliant with industry requirements; generating financial summaries where required.
- Developing and maintaining project key performance indicators.
- Setting review schedules, assessing project progress and implementation recommendations or addressing changes needed to stay on time and budget.
- Providing general project information to inquiries received via all incoming channels.
- Reviewing and approving vendor invoices and development of support documentation.
- Managing administrative tasks and organizing documentation for project diligence.
- Assisting in managing project budget, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Assisting in preparation of project status reports and other project documentation as required.
- Acting as a resource person for project team members.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
- Project Management (e.g. PMP, CSM, BBA, BS or applicable experience within the industry and function).
- 5-8 years of project management experience, including overseeing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams in the financial services or private wealth management industry.
- Familiarity with wealth management platforms, CRM systems, and project management tools, with 2-3 years of experience managing relationships with high-net-worth clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with the MSOffice suite, including MS Project, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Proficiency with the Project Management tools (e.g. Atlassian).

Compensation & Benefits:
Range $115,000 - $140,300 annually.
This range represents Wellington-Altus's expected range of compensation for this position. Actual compensation will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role. Compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
Wellington-Altus's total compensation package for employees may also include discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards. Wellington-Altus also offers health insurance, accident and life insurance, and other unique benefits per location.

- Must be able to travel within Canada 0-5% of the time.
