About StavPay

StavPay is the flagship accounts-payable automation and payments platform within Stavtar Solutions, trusted by hedge funds, private equity firms, and other alternative asset managers. We streamline invoice capture, allocation, approvals, and payments (ACH, wires, card rails, and cross-border) with bank integrations, compliance, and advanced AI-driven workflows.

We are scaling rapidly, with global teams across the U.S., India, Vietnam, and the Philippines, and are looking for a Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of new features, client implementations, and strategic initiatives for StavPay.

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects across the StavPay product line, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and with high quality. This includes managing internal product/engineering/design teams, external vendors (banks, payment providers), and clients during onboarding and rollout. The role requires a balance of technical fluency, payments industry knowledge, and structured project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with product roadmap and client needs.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Track and report progress to leadership and stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and UX/UI teams to clarify requirements and prioritize work.
• Coordinate with banking/payment partners on integration timelines, compliance approvals, and certifications (ACH, Wire, Card, ISO 20022 formats like PAIN.001, CAMT.053, etc.).
• Serve as the primary liaison with client stakeholders during onboarding and implementation.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies; drive proactive mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security standards (PCI, SOC 2, ISO 27001).

Client Delivery

• Manage client-facing projects from kickoff to go-live.
• Ensure smooth adoption of StavPay modules including invoice capture, approvals, payment center, and reporting.
• Capture client feedback for product improvement.

Operational Excellence

• Establish repeatable processes for implementation and release management.
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, metrics, and best-practice sharing.

Qualifications

• Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related field; PMP or Agile certification a plus.

Experience:

• 5+ years of project management experience in SaaS, fintech, or payments.
• Familiarity with accounts-payable workflows and multi-entity fund structures (hedge funds, PE, family offices) strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success managing technical integrations with banks, payment processors, or ERP/accounting systems.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall hybrid).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work across time zones and cultures with distributed teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar).

Working Hours: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST or 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST (as per the US daylight saving schedule)
