Project Manager – Pumps and Motors

Context/Environment:
Westinghouse is looking for a Nuclear Project Manager within the Pumps and Motors organization located in Nivelles, Belgium. You will be a key player in project performance from opportunity through project closure.

Location:
Your base will be at the European site in Nivelles, Belgium. You may be required to travel to meet customers and suppliers.

Key Responsabilities :

As part of maintenance contracts for nuclear power plants, you will be responsible for supervising and executing large-scale projects or a portfolio of related projects:

• Responsible for all phases in the project management process.
• Define resource requirements for project execution.
• Understand contract requirements to enable successful project implementation.
• Use and support Westinghouse project management systems and controls for various projects assuring management is provided with up-to-date and accurate reports of each project status.
• Identify, Mitigate and Manage risks and opportunities.

• Communicate project progress to various stakeholders (internal and external).
• Participate in preparing bids for new projects (technical proposals, budget estimates, scheduling, etc.).
• Ensure rigorous monitoring of Westinghouse KPIs.
• Organize project Lessons Learned (REX) meetings.

Skills:

• A Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering;
• 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Knowledge of construction codes (RCCM/ASME) is a plus
• Technical English required.
• Safety and quality culture required

Soft Skills:

• Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders, make decisions, and multitask.
• Strong communication skills with diverse audiences (project managers, workshop supervisors, technicians, clients…).
• Ability to understand detailed plans or mechanical assembly drawings.
• Analytical mindset with a pragmatic approach to resolving technical issues.
