Position Overview


We are hiring a dynamic
Project Manager

to lead diverse projects, from custom software and IT infrastructure to engineering and construction works. This role demands proactive planning, strong coordination, and a commitment to delivering quality results aligned with our core values.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project life cycles across ICT and Engineering projects

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets

  • Liaise with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including software developers, IT engineers, and field technicians

  • Monitor project progress using tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)

  • Manage risks, issues, and changes throughout project delivery

  • Ensure compliance with technical standards and business objectives

  • Prepare regular project reports for stakeholders and executive leadership

  • Uphold the BGS Principles in every client and team interaction


Requirements


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management, preferably across IT and engineering sectors

  • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification (required)

  • Proven experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams

  • Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure, software solutions, and civil/electrical engineering projects

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and leadership skills

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g. MS Project, Trello, Jira)

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and ICT service delivery in Nigeria

  • Experience in datacentre setup, infrastructure deployment, or e-solutions deployments

  • Knowledge of procurement and vendor management

  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
