Job Description

The position was mainly established for the purpose of driving a project forward, managing stakeholder engagement and ensuring that the project stays within budget and is completed on time. Project Managers handle the "project life cycle". In more details they will engage in the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and commissioning of a project. Will work closely with clients, stakeholders, project teams, subcontractors and authorities, whenever necessary, to ensure that all goals are met. The successful candidate must have strong organizational, problem-solving abilities with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and experience in complex project execution.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate project scope and objectives to internal and external project teams;
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule, budget and work plans based on scope and resources requirements;
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget;
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs;
• Perform risk management to identify and minimize project risks;
• Engage and collaborate with clients, stakeholders, authorities, when necessary, subcontractors and internal project teams to ensuring technical feasibility, on time and on budget;
• Liaise with relevant departments to predict and allocate resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner;
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects;
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with third parties/vendors/stakeholders/subcontractors including authorities, whenever necessary;;
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables;
• Monitor and control in coordination with the relevant department project costs to meet budget;
• Report and escalate to senior management, when necessary;
• Provide weekly and/or monthly project reports on a consistent basis to internal and external senior management, stakeholders;
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement;
• Create and maintain comprehensive project management documentation;
• Follow and enforce strict safety regulations for all related project teams;
• Frequent travels for meetings with the Client's and/or Subcontractors around the world;
• Site visits to the project areas onshore and offshore;
• Possible stays onshore and/or offshore during the project execution

Requirements

• A higher university degree in Engineering;
• Certification in Project Management (PMP)
• Proven working experience as a project administrator/ Project Manager in major industry projects; Evidence of involvement in projects including budget, position and type of project;
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively;
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools (Wrike etc.), methodologies, and best practices;
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle;
• Excellent client-facing;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills;
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Deep understand of project planning tools (MS Project and/or Primavera)
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful;
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline;
• Excellent Knowledge of English Language;
• Knowledge of German Language is to be considered as extra skill;
