Job Description

Veolia District Cooling (Hong Kong) Limited, a subsidiary of Veolia Hong Kong & Macau, operates the District Cooling System in Kai Tak Development and manages HVAC systems across major sites. District Cooling drives sustainable urban development with energy-efficient cooling solutions.

Location: Kai Tak

Responsibility for the Daily Operation & Maintenance in accordance with the contract requirements:

• Ensure straight compliance to the local safety, health and environmental ordinance and regulations by continuing reviewing the performance and proposing improvement plan.
• Liaise with Site H&S Manager to ensure that all H&S requirements are satisfied.
• Lead the Operation and Maintenance teams to carry out routine and preventive maintenance and operational works.
• Ensure a constant Customer Satisfaction and detect new business opportunities.
• Participates in client meetings, special award programs and handles resolution of client service problems in a professional manner.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with clients and teammates.
• Prepare specifications and tender documents for repair and maintenance works
• To strategize and allocate among internal / external resources according to skill mix, operation needs, time and cost efficiency, etc. for effective management of repair, maintenance, new projects within tight schedules and given constraints while minimizing disruption to service delivery.
• Prepare yearly budget and monitor monthly expenses.
• Assist in any assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in BS / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers or equivalent
• Strong communication skill, English, Cantonese, Putonghua preferred

Additional Information

Requirements:

• 8 years relevant experiences in BS or Mechanical Engineering
• Solid project management and site work experience is preferred
• Strong leadership skills, project management, client relationship management and communication skills
• Good leadership capabilities and a team player
