Job Description

Role Purpose:

Migrating 300 customers from our legacy BTV platform to the new platform in 12 months, working within the BTV PMO team with 4 other team members, the (2) project managers will be focused on this specific project.

Responsibilities

1. Accomplishes the following duties independently: Manage all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).

2. Define project scope and objectives, secure appropriate resources, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of the project.

3. Manage project financials.

4. Ensure control of the project: dealing with conflicting priorities, issues, risks, dependencies, and change.

5. Responsible for mapping project processes and defining and resolving process gaps. Ensure project management deliverables adhere to current procedures and quality standards.

6. Communicate project/program status effectively to variety of audiences including: internal and client cross-functional teams, senior leaders and executives.

7. Manage client relations and expectations

Must-Have Skills (min. 3 skills please):

1. Strong Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities are crucial. The ability to lead cross-functional teams and effectively coordinate with various stakeholders

2. Project Management Expertise: Strong ability to manage complex projects, including planning, coordinating, and executing across multiple functional areas.

3. Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to analyze and solve business problems, identify growth opportunities, and drive operational efficiencies.

Nice-to-Have Skills (min. 3 skills please):

1. Professional Certifications: Designations such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM (Certified Scrum Master), etc.

2. Continuous Improvement Mindset: passion for continuous improvement and can drive strategic, cross-functional programs.

3. Working knowledge of Fibre Optic TV services and legacy TV systems in a business environment

4. Previous experience managing Telecommunications projects

5. Previous experience working for Telecom company
