Mubadala Energy is an international energy company headquartered in Abu Dhabi, with a robust presence in Indonesia since 2004. The company operates three offshore Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) in the region, including the South Andaman Gross Split PSC, where it holds an 80% working interest and serves as the operator.

In May 2024, Mubadala Energy announced a significant gas discovery at the Tangkulo-1 exploration well, located approximately 65 kilometers offshore in the northern part of Sumatra Island. The well was drilled to a depth of 3,400 meters in 1,200 meters of water and encountered an 80-meter gas column within high-quality Oligocene sandstone reservoirs.


This discovery, following the earlier success at Layaran-1, underscores the substantial hydrocarbon potential of the South Andaman area. It aligns with Mubadala Energy's gas-focused strategy, enhancing energy security and supporting the global energy transition.

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join us as third-party manpower contractors (TPCs) under the Project & Engineering team for the Define Phase in the following positions:

• Engineer, Senior SURF

Qualifications & Requirements

We are looking for professionals with the following qualifications and experience:

Education:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Masters degree in Project Management or an MBA is an advantage.

Certifications:

• Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.

Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in project services management within the oil & gas industry, particularly in upstream and deep-water projects.
• Strong background in managing large, complex projects with multi-million-dollar budgets and international teams
• Expertise in offshore oil & gas operations, especially deep-water projects
• Previous experience working with global teams and managing projects across different geographical regions is a plus.
• Knowledge of project financials, including cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control.
• Ability to analyze data and present complex financials to non-financial stakeholders.

Technical & Management Skills:

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP).
• Knowledge of procurement, contract management, and financial reporting tools
• Strong leadership & team management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills (verbal & written).
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex project environments.
• In-depth understanding of industry standards such as ISO, API, and HSE regulations
• Strong commitment in highly standard of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols in offshore projects.
• Strong expertise in risk management strategies to mitigate budget, schedule, and safety risks.
