Job Description

The Integrated Solutions Associate Project Manager is responsible for supporting the Integrated Solutions Project Manager with planning and execution of Multi-Services/Solutions Projects for the Integrated Solutions group. The Associate Project Manager works in close collaboration with the Integrated Solutions project manager and supports them in all relevant project matters.

The Integrated Solutions Associate Project Manager must demonstrate knowledge in all matters related to managing projects, as well as well construction operations, including HSE and service quality. The Associate Project Manager is responsible for efficient and profitable project management of projects under the supervision of a project manager. This would include scheduling, coordinating, execution support, end of project evaluation, knowledge capture, and risk management.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Supports all project elements of Baker Hughes products and services, contracted parties, and client interfaces.
• Assists in insuring “on time” delivery, performance improvement, and incremental revenue increases through upsell strategies as well as pull through of additional products or services.
• Supports the overall customer deliverables by assisting with Integrated Solutions compliance adherence, financial KPI’s, service delivery and HSE performance.
• Assists with all the aspects of the financial performance of the projects (including the product lines).
• Support the sales teams to develop any future related opportunity pipeline.
• Reinforces alignment between product lines strategies to the Integrated Solutions project deliverables.
• Assists in managing the core project management team, and indirectly all other project assigned personnel as directed and in the absence of the Integrated Solutions project manager.
• Acts as a strong, committed HSE Leader and provides a HSE Leadership to all parties involved in the Project through the implementation of Baker Hughes HSE Management system and applicable customer’s HSE requirements. Promotes Stop Work Authority & speaking up culture at the project.
• Monitors Project HSE Performance and leads regular reviews with the involved parties (product lines, contractors etc).
• Participates in internal and external HSE & Quality audits and ensures the identified gaps and improvement opportunities are effectively addressed.
• Facilitates the introduction of various products and services across multiple well sites/rigs.
• Implements the project schedule as directed by the Integrated Solutions project manager and applies proposed solutions to both leading and lagging situations as well as to unforeseen and predicted events.
• Applies Baker Hughes specific group (Integrated Solutions) management system processes and procedures to the project, as well as any mandated software solutions that are applicable.
• Utilizes project management methodology in daily working practice and additionally encourages team members by example.
• Performs as a conduit for contact with the client when the project manager is unavailable, nurtures the client relationship.
• Actively assists in performing contract management and under the direction of the project manager, ensures the project communication plan is in place and functional across all levels and areas of the project.
• Creates, modifies, and improves Project Execution Plan as directed by the project manager which would also include the Risk Management Plan, Communications Plan, Sourcing Plan, Vendor Management Plan, Schedule, Quality Plan, Stakeholder Matrix, Data Management, Readiness Plan, and Performance Improvement Plan, HSE Plan and HSE Bridging Documentation.
• Performs ongoing project reviews with client, Baker Hughes leadership, internal project staff, contracted parties and any relevant industry or official bodies that are associated with the project. Participates in peer reviews, AAR’s (After Action Reviews) and any investigations as required.
• Utilizes proficient networking and touchpoints in the matrix organization to insure sufficient and effective use of supporting resources for the project from the wider Baker Hughes organization.
• Works closely with the Integrated Solutions Centers of Excellence (CoE) in project service delivery and reporting of group KPIs, as well as quality checks of daily operational and financial (Cost/Time) reporting.
• Assists with efforts regarding contingency planning from the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) from deployment/testing/& drills, to risk mitigation and reporting per the plan. Aids the project manager as a strong promoter of the Management of Change (MOC) process as well as participate as a member of the ERT.
• Displays and encourages company ethics, initiatives across both the assigned project and the wider organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Project Management).
• Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Project Leadership.

• +8 years of experience coordinating offshore or onshore operations

• Experience coordinating programs and logistics

The Baker Hughes internal title for this role is: Project Management Advisor - Integrated Solutions/Project Management
