The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Fabrication Division is seeking a highly motivated Project Management Specialist to join the Business Integration Office (BIO). Our team is dedicated to driving Fabrication Centers of Excellence by integration of Program and Fabrication Operations through the life cycle of a program.
As a Project Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the seamless integration of work for Fabrication Operations. This position offers the opportunity to tackle complex challenges, lead cross-functional projects, and influence operational excellence. Success in this role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads execution of project statements of work for Fabrication Operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational capabilities
Integrates program and project plans, schedules, baseline/change management, and industry best practices into day-to-day execution
Serves as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to define requirements, objectives, and success criteria
Collaborates closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Quality, and other support functions to enable smooth project delivery
Proactively identify, assess, and address project risks issues and opportunities
Maintains integrated project plans and schedules for complex, change driven programs in accordance with project management standards
Monitors project progress, track milestones, and report status to leadership and key stakeholders
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years’ experience with program management, project management and/or business operations
3+ years’ experience leading cross-functional teams
Experience leading projects using Project Management Best Practices and tools
Experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
Experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 4 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
Experience working within aerospace manufacturing or defense program environments
Experience developing business cases and financial analyses to support project decisions
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in risk management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Work Location:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Pay Range for Mid-level (Level 3): USD $94,350 - $127,650
Pay Range for Mid-level (Level 4): USD $118,150 - $159,850
