Purpose of this position / Position summary

The Global Business Excellence and Strategic Project Team is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Global Business Excellence Project Manager to support the planning execution and monitoring of a small and mid-scale projects While progressively building the capability to independently manage projects end to end. The role focuses on strengthening planning stakeholder management and communication skills over time

  • Project Scope: Small to mid-scale projects or defined workstreams
  • Number of Projects: Typically 1–3 projects or multiple workstreams concurrently
  • Geographical Scope: May involve coordination with global or cross-regional teams
  • Stakeholder Complexity: Cross-functional teams with varying priorities and dependencies

Primary duties and responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end project coordination for defined workstreams or smaller projects
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and tracking tools
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely task completion
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and support mitigation actions
  • Ensure timely and structured communication of project updates, risks, and dependencies
  • Prepare presentations and reports for governance and stakeholder reviews
  • Maintain accurate documentation of decisions, actions, and project changes
  • Track deliverables against timelines and highlight deviations proactively

Progressive Development Expectations (Over Time):

  • Gradually take ownership of larger workstreams and smaller projects with increasing independence
  • Contribute to project planning, including defining timelines, dependencies, and milestones
  • Build stronger stakeholder alignment across functions and geographies
  • Demonstrate improved judgment in managing risks, dependencies, and escalations
  • Deliver clear, structured communication tailored to different stakeholder levels
  • Show increasing consistency in meeting timelines and managing commitments Stakeholder Management:
  • Increasing confidence in coordinating with cross-functional and global stakeholders, with improved alignment and responsiveness
  • Gradual increase in ownership of deliverables, with the ability to manage risks, raise issues, and support resolution independently
  • Improved reliability in meeting timelines and managing dependencies with reduced supervision

Education requirements / Experience / Job Specifications

Education / Professional Certification

Bachelor's degree in management engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field

Certification in project management is preferable (e.g. CAPM or PMP etc.)

Experience

2-4 years of experience in project coordination or similar role

Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Ms. office especially PowerPoint in excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Ms Project)
  • Familiarity with reporting tools or dashboards (e.g. Power BI)
