The Project Management Senior Advisor - Quality in the Florence Shop will coordinate and lead all aspects of Quality to ensure excellence through all phases of the Venture Global group of projects. Proactively managing and monitoring all BH plants, suppliers, site activities and customer quality management executives, you will lead the extended VG program team along this journey with VG. Taking the lead on RCAs, ensuring audit findings are closed in a timely manner, highlighting areas of concern, and ensuring key personnel are qualified and trained to perform their roles in all aspects of the Project. This role will cross all disciplines in all functions, along multiple time zones.

As a Project Management Senior Advisor - Quality for the Florence shop, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead all aspects of Quality for both customer and internal organization, playing a proactive role in problem solving & prevention during the project life cycle
  • Develop and publish a scorecard of program wide metrics to be shared in monthly PM meetings and used to identify areas to improve
  • Identify potential risk factors which may impact the schedule using Risk Management Tools to avoid occurrences and minimize disruption of cost and schedule
  • Develop enduring customer relationships built on trust and reliable performance
  • Ensure resolution of non-conformities and prevention of future occurrences in the Program
  • Represent the company in all audits, leadership engagements, critical site activities and executive steering discussions about future program needs
  • Engage with all Suppliers and Partners for the LTS and PIS portions as the main POC for Quality
  • Effectively apply, manage, and supervise company's internal systems, tools and processes necessary for tracking, planning, and ensuring timely resolution of NCMs'
  • Provide expertise and support to Sourcing in selection of (sub) contractors for site activities and drafting of relevant Purchase orders and qualification activities of new suppliers
  • Serve as the focal point for Compliance activities and champion for the VG program extended team


Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have Bachelor’s degree from a university or college with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a Quality Management, Project Management, Engineering or Supply Chain roles.
  • Have experience in leadership roles of a quality organization in a manufacturing company for 7+ years, in Oil&Gas, Heavy Machinery or Wielding Machinery Industry, with a good knowledge of t urbo machinery equipment and EPC background
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, and Word
  • Have good technical experience and knowledge of BH Rotating Machinery and modules is nice to have
  • Be able to work from various BH and supplier sites in Italy 30-40% of the time
  • Be fluent in Italian and English
  • Have experience in a global environment
  • Have experience in managing teams directly or indirectly

Desired Characteristics:

  • Have Master’s degree or MBA
  • Have good organization and efficiency skills and good attention to detail
  • Be clear, concise, and articulate communication skills - verbal, written and listening
  • Be highly motivated to achieve many concurrent tasks. Must have the ability to drive actions with others through emails, phone calls, MS Teams meetings and In-Person interactions
  • Work with little supervision, team-player, good interpersonal & leadership skills
  • Be able to deal with ambiguity and handle stressful and difficult situations with composure
  • Be familiar with financial details, formal recordkeeping and formal business communications are a plus
