JOB SUMMARY

The QNXT Project Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership and coordination of business resources supporting the QNXT core system implementation. The Supervisor ensures business workstreams remain aligned with project priorities, milestones, and deliverables; promotes accountability across the team; identifies and escalates risks and barriers; and supports overall business readiness for implementation.

This position directly oversees Business Project Managers, the Testing Coordinator, Training Coordinator, and other assigned project support resources.

This role works closely with the QNXT Project Implementation Office (PIO), Business Leads, Executive Sponsor, Information Technology, Cognizant, operational leaders, and other project stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directly supervise, coach, and provide day-to-day guidance to assigned QNXT project resources.
  • Establish priorities and expectations, coordinate resource assignments, monitor performance and deliverables, and hold project resources accountable for meeting established timelines, quality standards, and project objectives.
  • Oversee project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, decisions, and outstanding action items; monitor workloads and adjust assignments as project priorities change.
  • Coordinate business activities across requirements, testing, training, operational readiness, and implementation; foster collaboration and coordination across project workstreams.
  • Maintain current project plans and documentation, monitor progress against timelines, and proactively address or escalate risks, barriers, resource constraints, and delays.
  • Facilitate timely resolution of key decisions and action items while ensuring business requirements and changes are documented, communicated, and aligned across business, technical, and vendor teams.
  • Monitor testing progress, defects, training development and completion, and readiness risks.
  • Lead coordination with PIO, operational leadership, subject matter-experts and key business resources to align testing, training, readiness, go-live, implementation, and post-implementation activities.
  • Provide oversight to temporary and permanent project resources, including Business Analysts, Project Analysts, Documentation Specialists, Data and Reporting Analysts, Operational Readiness resources, and other implementation support staff.
  • Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while effectively managing multiple priorities, projects, and competing deadlines.
  • Strong project coordination, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify dependencies and risks, and drive accountability for deliverables.
  • Knowledge of project management principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of business requirements, process analysis, testing, training, and implementation practices.
  • Strong team leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate complex projects across business and technical teams.
  • Knowledge of healthcare core administration functions such as claims, eligibility, benefits, provider, authorization, pricing, or EDI preferred.
  • Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, information systems, project management, or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of five years of experience leading implementation projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and/or overseeing project resources, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Progressive experience supervising staff, providing performance guidance, and managing workloads, priorities, and assignments.
  • Experience leading or supporting system implementations.
  • Project management certification, such as PMP Certification.
  • Health plan, managed care, TPA, or healthcare operations experience preferred.
  • Experience with UAT, training, operational readiness, and system implementation preferred.
