The Position

At Novo Nordisk, interns will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced industry professionals and gain valuable, hands-on, full-time work experience. For 12 weeks, interns will be immersed in the environment of a 24/7 commercial scale bio-production facility and contribute to the business by providing sustainable and meaningful project work. The Project Management Intern will work closely with Project Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain/Warehouse teams to assist with improving information sharing and process flows between these areas of the facility. This internship will support mapping of work flows between departments by meeting directly with stakeholders involved throughout the manufacturing and supply chain process. They will assist with digitilization projects to reduce manual workflows and create more efficient workflows between teams. This role will need to meet directly with colleagues around the facility to document and understand how materials and our products move throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, attention to detail and documenting the minutae of operations will be imperative for success in this role.

This role is based onsite at our West Lebanon, NH bio-production facility. Work schedule is: Monday-Friday 8am-430pm.

Program Start: May 26, 2026.

Program End: August 14, 2026.

Relationships

Reports to: Senior Manager, Project Management

Essential Functions

Assist Project Management team with supply chain process optimization project
• Document steps of internal processes to create process maps
• Document specific information pertaining to movement of materials and product throughout the overall manufacturing and supply chain lifecycle
• Develop a good understanding of good manufacturing practice (GMP)
• Develop a good understanding of project management in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Develop a good understanding of stakeholder and project management tools
• Proactively build relationships and directly engage with stakeholders across departments
• Create and develop the project plan
• Monitor and control project work
• Perform all job duties and responsbilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes
• Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be a current student enrolled or recently graduated (graduation date no earlier than April 2024) at/from an accredited college or university pursuing at least a bachelor’s degree
  • A completed or in progress <insert bachelor’s/master’s/doctorate> degree in <insert area of study> or a related discipline preferred
  • Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
  • Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
