About the role
The Project Management Office Intern supports Mexico & Peru PMO in production of metrics and project dashboards consolidating all the MX & PE projects that helps in the monitoring and status visibility, as well as administer project documents in the official business Project Place and update PMO materials to ensure information displayed are up to date. PMO intern will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge about the key aspects and framework for managing projects.
We are looking for an intern with strong ability in organization, managing and reporting, as well as thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Location: Monterrey, NL
Time Availability: 6-7 hours daily.
In this role you will:
Assistance on managing projects from GM Financial Mexico & Peru, following PMO framework and excellence in results.
Support on projects/initiatives documentation in Plan View and ensure cleanup/update of the repository.
Support in the update of PMO’s materials to ensure that templates displayed are up to date.
Aid in populate intake requests for new projects/initiatives and provide administrative support in carrying out those new requests for approval in the PMO Committee.
Review of risk, issues and mitigation plans with Business Project Manager.
Active student of bachelor related to Business or Administration fields. With at least 12 months prior to graduation day
Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm
Ability to manage reporting.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal and organization skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); MS Project.
Oral and written proficiency in the following: Spanish and English.
