Job Description

The Project Management Experience Program (PMEP) accelerates the development of early career EPC and project management personnel through intensive training in the areas of technical and leadership skills. This PMEP role is intended for off program on the Project Management team in the Grid Solutions business.

The Project Management Experience Program (PMEP) is GE Vernova’s premier development pathway for emerging project professionals seeking to fast‑track their career in EPC and project delivery. This full‑time, 2-year program equips participants with practical technical skills, real‑world field exposure, and the leadership capabilities required to manage complex energy projects across the Grid Solutions business.

A third rotation is chosen from key disciplines such as Commercial Operations, Sourcing, Contract Management, Finance, Quality, Project Controls, Logistics, Lean, or Project Management.

Graduates of the PMEP move into impactful project management roles, prepared to support customer delivery and contribute to the global energy transition.

The program commences in June 2026.

  • Build professional and leadership skills through training, mentorship, and hands‑on experience.

Essential Requirements

  • Foundational experience in areas such as engineering, project management, operations, construction, commercial roles, supply chain, or similar fields.
  • Interest in fieldwork and hands‑on construction or commissioning environments.
  • Ability and willingness to work in the office for each rotation and on-site at the customer site regularly, depending on rotation needs (locally and internationally)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Motivation to learn, adapt, and work across different teams and disciplines.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Exposure to energy, utilities, industrial, construction, or EPC projects.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera), ERP systems, or project management tools.
  • Experience with customer-facing work or cross-functional collaboration.
  • Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, APM PMQ, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent.

What We Offer:

  • A structured 2‑year development program with three curated rotations.
  • Hands‑on experience in the field, scheduling, and one elective discipline.
