Job Description

Bank of Jordan, a leading financial institution in Jordan, is seeking a talented and experienced Project Management Engineer to join our team. As a Project Management Engineer at Bank of Jordan, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing strategic projects from initiation to successful completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic projects, from initiation to successful completion.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks and issues, and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate project performance and implement improvements as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in project management methodologies and tools.
  • A certification in project management (PMP) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage projects of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record in delivering projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project or other project management software.
