With expertise across fields such as transportation, quantum science, medical countermeasures and advanced manufacturing, the NRC is hiring to drive the development of national sovereign defence capabilities. The following role will support the NRC’s contributions to defence priorities.
We are looking for a Project Management Coordinator (PMC) to support our Project Management team. The PMC would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
The Project Management Coordinator is responsible for supporting program/project management activities by working closely with project managers and providing expertise on practices, systems and tools in order to ensure projects are tracked and managed efficiently.
The PMC relieves the project team of project management administrative responsibilities by entering, adjusting and maintaining project data using SAP Project Systems module to help all stakeholders have an accurate picture of the project status and forecast. The PMC prepares status reports at team and program levels to assist the Project Manager make informed decisions in order to deliver projects on scope, on time, and on budget.
They also provide a range of other project coordination services, including procurement activities and advice on the processes and tools related to project coordination.
Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:
Successful completion of college degree.
Program specializing in business administration or in project management would be considered an asset.
A combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
A formal designation as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) would be considered an asset.

Secret Clearance
A thorough security clearance process will be applied.

From $68,047 to $80,289 per annum.
In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
