Job Description

This role serves as a senior leader and trusted advisor within EIA, driving strategic initiatives that advance organizational growth, strengthen core capabilities, and enhance operational performance. The successful candidate will lead through influence, fostering collaboration across divisions to deliver innovative solutions, exceptional program execution, and sustainable business results.

Working closely with EIA and sector leadership, this individual will help shape strategy, drive operational excellence, develop future leaders, and ensure EIA continues to differentiate itself in the marketplace through innovation, quality, and client-focused delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Differentiate

  • Drive innovation and differentiation by fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across EIA divisions and functional teams.
  • Expand and strengthen EIA's core capabilities in alignment with strategic priorities and evolving market needs.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, operational effectiveness, and client outcomes through innovative approaches and best practices.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating strategic objectives into actionable initiatives that create measurable business value.

Grow

  • Contribute to the development and execution of EIA's strategy as part of the broader sector strategic planning process.
  • Assess market trends, client needs, and organizational capabilities to identify opportunities for growth and capability expansion.
  • Partner across the organization to advance strategic initiatives that support revenue growth, market differentiation, and long-term business objectives.
  • Support business development efforts through thought leadership, client engagement, solution development, and strategic relationship building.

Execute

  • Maintain an unwavering focus on quality, consistency, and delivery excellence across all divisions.
  • Drive operational performance by identifying and implementing efficiency improvements and cost-saving initiatives that support margin objectives.
  • Ensure program execution, transparency, and accountability across the portfolio, proactively addressing risks and performance challenges.
  • Lead Recovery-to-Green (RTG) efforts when needed, developing and executing corrective action plans to restore program performance.
  • Develop project and program management capabilities through mentoring, coaching, and the sharing of best practices.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics that drive execution excellence and continuous improvement.

Engage

  • Develop and mentor high-potential talent, with a particular focus on succession planning and leadership pipeline development.
  • Foster collaboration, engagement, and knowledge sharing across teams, divisions, and functional areas.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment, trust, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Serve as a role model for EIA's values, culture, and commitment to client success.

Background & Experience Requirements:

  • Recognized leader with the ability to influence outcomes across organizations without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives, driving strategic change, and improving organizational performance.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to balance growth, quality, execution, and profitability objectives.
  • Completed Bachelor's degree Required
  • Proven ability to develop talent, mentor emerging leaders, and build organizational capability.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience operating in a consulting, engineering, utility, energy, infrastructure, or related professional services environment.
  • Requires verbal and written communication

This position will work on an as-needed basis, rather than a typical 40 hour work week, and the pay rate is $124/hour.
