The Project Management Development Coach (P3/P4) is a dual level position and will be embedded in the Strategic Deterrent Systems Lean-Agile Center of Excellence, where he/she will champion Agile adoption across the entire division while delivering a sustainable training and coaching ecosystem. The Position is in Roy, Utah. In addition to designing, developing, and delivering instructor-led and digital curricula that blend traditional project-management, Agile frameworks, and Earned-Value Management (EVM) fundamentals, the coach will work 1-on-1 with individuals to clarify and master their Agile roles, providing focused mentorship for Scrum Masters, Product Owners, chief scrum masters, and team members so each can execute their responsibilities with confidence. The coach will apply EVM techniques to the Sentinel program, configuring the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Advanced Roadmaps) to capture value-delivery metrics, and will translate those data into actionable action and coaching plans. Supporting the whole division, the coach will partner with a designated business unit to lead PI-Planning preparation and execution, ensuring that goals are aligned to strategic objectives, that backlog grooming and sprint commitments are realistic, and that performance is tracked against the Integrated Master Schedule. Throughout, the coach will champion a culture of continuous improvement and transparent communication, while maintaining full compliance with DoD acquisition policies and the required security clearances. In addition to these roles the Agile coach will have a emphasis on supporting Agile and earned value across the Sentinel Program.
You will report functionally to the SDS Engineering Functional Homeroom. You will implement strategic project management practices, engage with senior leadership, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet technical requirements. In addition to leading and directing project teams, you will prepare project execution plans and identify appropriate technical and business resources.
For your daily tasks and direction, you will report to your Assignment Manager. Your Assignment Manager will expect you too effectively:
Perform or support Agile Coaching roles, tasks and activities.
Perform or support in Control Account Manager (CAM) tasks/activities.
Perform or support in Earned Value Management tasks/activities.
Perform or support in Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks/activities.
Perform or support in Risk, Issue, Opportunity (RIO) tasks/activities.
Perform or support in Procurement, Purchasing, Supplier Management and/or Contracting tasks/activities.
Perform or support in Resource Management tasks/activities.
Perform or support in Agile (i.e. PI Planning, Backlog Refinement, Jira management, ...) tasks/activities
Perform or support in other tasks/activities required to meet contractual or programmatic requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
Level 3 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD, 4 additional years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
Level 4 8 Years with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD , 4 additional years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
For both levels:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
Must have knowledge/experience with Agile methodologies, tools, and resources
Must be knowledgeable in Atlassian Suite (i.e. Jira and Confluence).
Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
